In the air sitting in the door getting ready to jump. Those chopper pilots would sit you down almost anywhere, but they got nervous if you took too long in getting off their chopper. If you didn't move quick enough you might have a pretty good jump as they were leaving the LZ.
    There was always a feeling of relief when sitting in the chopper either going out or coming back to basecamp after your mission. I think it was a feeling of security that you didn't have in the field. Also a last minute to go over the mission and pray that the LZ isn't hot. Hopeing that things hadn't changed since your reconnisance a day or two before.
